Security

As a team, you may not be accustomed to additional security being provided. However, if you are travelling to a country with a higher crime rate than you are used to, it is important to understand that additional security measures may be in place and how that might adjust your daily movements. 

Simple security measures, regardless of which country you visit should be part of the training you put in place for your squad members.

• Do not carry unnecessary valuables
• Lock valuables away in the room or hotel safe
• Never leave bedroom doors open, even if you are just across the corridor
• Do not leave valuables unattended in training or match venues
• Do not take unnecessary risks in unfamiliar areas, day, or night.
