Application process to become a World Rugby Accredited Agent

Step 1
In order to become a World Rugby Accredited Agent, an Agent must first complete their application and provide the documentation and information requested by World Rugby.

The completed application and enclosures will be reviewed by our legal team.

For clarity, World Rugby reserves the right to request further information, arrange an interview with you and/or reject your application.

If your application is approved, it does not mean you are a World Rugby Accredited Agent. There are further steps remaining.

Agents will also need to hold a valid Keep Rugby Onside certificate. Keep Rugby Onside is a short and free to complete World Rugby course regarding our anti-corruption and betting Regulations. It can be accessed here. You do not need to upload a copy of your Certificate of Completion as World Rugby will confirm this as part of the review process.

Step 2
Once World Rugby approves your application, you will be required to sit an exam. You will not be permitted to sit the exam until your application is approved.

The exam is multiple choice. You will be asked 30 questions and must score at least 80% to pass.

You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam, and if you fail, you will not be permitted to re-sit for 3 months.

Step 3
On passing the exam, you will be required to pay £25 to become a World Rugby Accredited Agent and be added to the public register of Accredited Agents.

Once added to the public register, you are now a World Rugby Accredited Agent.
