Post-match

Reports

The Sideline Manager and Recorder should be proactive about assisting Referees to complete any yellow and/or red card reports. Where an App is being used, if functionality allows, the description of the event can be inputted and saved for the Referee to review, edit and sign. If paper reports are being used, it can be useful to have the known information completed in advance for the Referee to review, edit and sign. 

Debrief

The full Officials Team should debrief after the match. In addition, the Sideline Officials should debrief on their performance discussing: 

• What went well? 
• What areas are there for individual and collective improvement? 
• Were there any unusual events in the game? 
  • How could these events be handled differently in future?
