Role of the T1 Referee

The great thing about T1 is that it is simple to officiate. The basics of the game are easy to pick up. 

Depending on the nature of the session, it could be more of a game manager/facilitator role to help new players to get to grips with the game and help them build their knowledge, skills and experience to play it. Or, if the participants are more experienced, or at least they understand the game, then it becomes a more traditional Referee role. It could even be a great tool to help new Referees get into refereeing, or to develop those initial refereeing skills.
