Push Exercises

Push exercises target muscles such as the shoulder and chest. Push exercises can be broken into horizontal and vertical variations, with horizontal push exercises targeting the chest musculature and vertical push variations targeting the shoulder musculature (deltoids).

General Coaching Cues;

  • Elbows tucked
  • Forearms perpendicular to the ground
  • Controlled tempo.
