How is the decision communicated to the player, the media and the public?

The reasons for the decision should be fully recorded in the written decision of the Judicial Officer/ Disciplinary Committee. This must be sent as soon as possible to the affected player (and before his/her next game). Decisions should then also be published on the Association’s website so other teams, media and the public are made aware of them.

Judicial Officer/Disciplinary Committee members should not make public comment (whether via traditional or social media) in relation to specific decisions. If you get queries via traditional or social media in relation to discipline please let your Association know before you respond who will assist.
