Equipment check
Now is the time to ensure you have with you all the equipment you will need at the stadium.
Anthems
If your match involves national teams, you’ll need the anthems for the competing teams to provide to the relevant parties. It’s also worth knowing in advance the duration of those anthems, as that will affect the precise arrangements for the few minutes before kickoff.
Flags
If the match has any pre-match arrangements which require flags, you’ll need to take the correct flags with you.
Balls
The tournament will have arrangements for match balls. Normally this involves supplying some balls to the team pre-tournament for familiarisation, and then some more on arrival at the tournament for training purposes.
You need to bring the balls, on the Captain’s Run day, that will be used for the match. These are provided to each team at the start of their respective Captain’s Run, and must be returned to you at the end of the session. You also need to collect them at the end of the match.
You should also bring some spare balls, just in case any are lost or are shown to be defective.
Bibs
If there is a series of official tournament bibs, you’ll need to be sure you have the required colours and quantities with you.
