First Aid In Rugby

This online module aims to equip you with some of basic rugby-specific First Aid skills and is recommended for all stakeholders. Completion of this online module is a pre-requisite for attending our face-to-face First Aid in Rugby Course.

The level 2 ICIR is aimed at providing health care and allied health care professionals working in rugby the ability to assess, stabilise and package for removal to a safe area awaiting the arrival of advanced care provision.

The level 3 AICIR is aimed at providing health care professionals; Doctors, nurses, paramedics, physiotherapist, sports trainers and sports rehabilitationists etc. working in rugby the ability to assess, diagnose and deliver advanced care while achieving stabilisation and package for removal to a safe area awaiting the arrival of further advanced care provision.

Mindset – A Mental Health Resource for Team Doctors

This resource has been developed to support team medical staff with identification of mental health problems. In addition, information provided includes tools that can be used to screen for mental health problems as well as advice around referring players who may be experiencing mental health problems.
