Who’s who? Roles and responsibilities

There are a number of terms used for the different roles we will explain here. For consistency we will use the following role titles:

• Technical Zone Manager
• Replacements Controller
• Recorder
• Timekeeper

In many cases, these roles will be appointed from the match officials community and will also step up should a referee/assistant referee need to be replaced during a match.
