Bench Press

  • Lying on the bench the player will have their feet in contact with the ground and their glutes, shoulders, and head in contact with the bench
  • The player reaches up and grips the bar slightly wider than shoulder width apart
  • The player lifts the bar off the rack and under control lowers it to their chest, touching the chest but not bouncing the bar off the chest
  • The player then presses the bar back up to the start position
