Heels raised Overhead Squat test
Another progression that can be performed is the Heels raised Overhead Squat test. This has the exact same set-up as the Overhead Squat test except the heels will be raised on a ledge. If the player cannot achieve correct depth without compensations occurring when the heels are flat on the ground, but can now achieve a good squat pattern with the heels raised, it indicates that there is some restriction in the lower body. The video shows the correct performance of this progression.
