Deadlift

  • The player addresses the bar with the midfoot underneath the bar
  • They squat down and grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder width apart
  • Back should be flat and the chest should be up and out in the start position
  • The player then stands up straight driving through the heels and keeping the bar in as close as they can to the body
  • The player then reverses the movement to return the bar to the floor under control
