Vertical jump with squat thrust

The Vertical jump with squat thrust is a total body exercise which works on explosiveness and landing mechanics. To perform the Vertical jump with squat thrust correctly as demonstrated in the video, the player must:

  • Drop into a squat thrust position
  • Complete the squat thrust and immediately jump as high as possible
  • Upon landing flex at the knees and hips to cushion
  • Maintain alignment of feet and knees upon landing
