Creative Session Design

When resources are limited, creativity and structure are key. Sessions can combine multiple biomotor skills in circuits or game-based formats.

Example 1: Bodyweight Conditioning Circuit (30 min)

Example 2: “Movement Game” Session (30 min)

  • Use cones, balls, and partner resistance for playful yet purposeful movement.
  • Alternate between skill-based challenges (e.g., passing sequences) and short conditioning bursts (e.g., sprints, jump squats, balance drills).
  • Emphasise teamwork and movement control particularly valuable for athletes still developing coordination and confidence.
