Creative Session Design
When resources are limited, creativity and structure are key. Sessions can combine multiple biomotor skills in circuits or game-based formats.
Example 1: Bodyweight Conditioning Circuit (30 min)
Component |
Duration |
Activity |
Focus / Notes |
| Warm-Up | 5 min | Dynamic movements: skips, arm swings, side shuffles, mobility drills | Increase heart rate and prepare joints/muscles for movement |
| Circuit |
20 min |

|
| Cool-down | 5 min | Light jog or stretch | Promote recovery and flexibility |
Example 2: “Movement Game” Session (30 min)
- Use cones, balls, and partner resistance for playful yet purposeful movement.
- Alternate between skill-based challenges (e.g., passing sequences) and short conditioning bursts (e.g., sprints, jump squats, balance drills).
- Emphasise teamwork and movement control particularly valuable for athletes still developing coordination and confidence.
