2. Rugby Specific Change of Direction

The purpose of this phase of the framework is to build technical competency in the representative movement action of the game. It emphasises the ability to change direction with purpose, under pressure, and in alignment with tactical roles. By embedding change of direction (COD) drills within realistic contexts, players develop movement fluency that transfers directly to match situations.
